Company and Contract News


We are delighted to have secured the contract at the Royal Veterinary College for Guildmore Ltd. After successfully completing the first phase, the Allard team will be heading back to site to complete the second phase where we will be carrying out the recladding works.

We have also secured our first contract with Diocese of Hallam at the Hallam Pastoral Centre in Sheffield. We will be carrying out the flat-to-pitched roofing conversion works with Langley structures. Once works are complete a case study will follow on our website.  


We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Steve Chambers to Operations Director.

Steve has been with the company for 3 years progressing from a Contracts Manager to Regional Operations Manager to Operations Director.

Steve brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and energy to the team. In this new role Steve will be responsible for the daily management of our team of Contracts Managers and Site Managers, whilst overseeing our Contract finances and all HSEQ works by the Contracts team and HSEQ Manager.

Congratulations Steve and from the entire Allard team we wish you continued success within your new role.

Meet the Admin / Finance Team



Company Secretary
Emily manages the Admin and Finance team and is responsible for reporting to and directly assisting the Directors. Additionally, Emily oversees the implementation of Company policies and procedures and co-ordinates various internal projects.


HR Manager
Karen is responsible for all employee relations, recruitment, payroll and benefits (including the Workplace Pension). This includes extending employment offers, ensuring all the correct right to work documentation is in place and keeping up to date with all the statutory requirements.


Company Bookkeeper
Lori is our Company Bookkeeper and oversees the daily finances of the company. Lori manages the bank, payments, internal expenses and VAT.


Marketing and IT Manager

Victoria is responsible for all Company IT, ranging from iPhones to firewalls. Additionally, Victoria manages all marketing & content related to the Company including our LinkedIn, quarterly newsletters and case studies.


Sales Ledger Assistant
Carly is responsible for managing the Company Sales Ledger. She keeps track of the full payment process from Application – Retention and is responsible for Credit Control of monies due in.


Purchase Ledger Assistant
Kinga is responsible for managing the Company Purchase Ledger. Kinga manages the internal process for the logging, reconciliation and authorisation of Purchase documents, from Purchase Orders to Invoices to Statements.


Office and Fleet Assistant
Zanna is responsible for document control of all enquiries and PQQs that come into the Company. Additionally, Zanna manages the daily tasks associated with our full fleet of vehicles such as servicing, insurance etc.


Junior Office Assistant
Dezi assists all departments within the Company with Administrative duties. Dezi manages the logging and distribution of Company documents such as Orders and Guarantees. She is also responsible for logistics bookings, Company stock, and provides the main telephone interface.


Accounts Apprentice
Jaime is working within the Finance team to gain an understanding of Accounts practice within a Construction Company. Jaime provides administrative assistance to Procurement, Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger.

Case Studies

Hockerill College

Allard Construction Ltd were appointed by Borras Construction to carry out the waterproofing works to a new build project in Hertfordshire.

Acton Gardens

Allard Construction Ltd worked on behalf of Countryside Properties. Roofing works were carried out to 9 different blocks, inclusive of waterproofing, Brown Roofs and roof finishes.

Foxwood Academy (Works in Progress)

Appointed by Make Consulting Ltd, we are carrying out works to Foxwood Academy in Nottingham. We are currently overlaying the existing felt roof and installing a 25 year guaranteed Decothane Ultra system inclusive of a PIR insulation.

Once complete a full case study will be on our website.

K1 Knightsbridge (Works in Progress)

We have been employed by Skanska to carry out a multi-trade package at K1 Knightsbridge in London circa £2.5m. The project will consist of lead works, slating, flat roofing, cold melt and carpentry. During this contract we will be working in close conjunction with Proteus, SSQ Slates, ALM and Sika Sarnafil.

Social and Charity News

Last month we held our first FIFA tournament!!

The team were put through their paces but in the end our Directors Assistant, Harry Sullivan and our Director, Aaron Chapman went head to head in the final. After a tense but exciting game Harry took the win!!

The Admin and Finance team took full advantage of the sunshine and enjoyed a picnic in the park to get some much-needed time to relax as a team. Thank you to our Director, Sarah for the delicious treats!!
